Tonights workout

This was a good run.. My T4 levels are out of the scale ( in the 180s) and beyond and my T3 is barely noticeable on my blood work . Taking that into account, to enjoy running 5km is a great accomplishment. The first 15 minutes of this run was spent testing out some of the features on my treadmill, but once I got going ... Wow.. I love to find that perfect pace where you can just run run run.. Can't wait to get the treadmill to my apartment so I can use it more.

It is impossible to not smile while listening to t he song I found this weekend - Boum by Charles Trenet . It has been on repeat on my ipod the last few days.

Also, Nelly Furtado and Green Day have done their work on my play list lately..

Spring is here. It is 15 'C outside and sun is shining. I am grabbing my camera and sunglasses and getting out of here..

Worthy

Denmark is introducing a test to determine if you are worthy of becoming a citizen. You are required to answer correctly on 28 out of 40 questions to pass the test. Interesting thought. I wonder how many of the "native" danish would pass the test if they were required to take the test to keep the right to their citizenship. For fun I took the mock test made by a newspaper in my country to simulate the same scenario here. I passed with flying colors, and I think most other would too. ... I really hope I am right...

Soundtrack

The movie "A good year" was pretty good but the music is great.. love the Boum- Charles Trenet song. Most of the soundtrack music is from the 40s or 40s inspired, very cool and fitting to the movie. I would not mind spending a summer in a château like the one in the movie. I would bring an old record player and Charles Trenet..

Online

Finally my appartment is livable! The phonecompany came and installed my internet connection today, YAY! By this afternoon my other PC will be present and there will be peace..

Double grossness

I saw Music and Lyrics this weekend. Hugh Grant is getting old! And playing opposite Drew Barrymore .. what is the age gap between those two? Call me old fashioned, but there was grossness there. The movie itself is light entertainment with a not so good storyline.

I also saw the Borat movie. Quite funny. The movie featured a lot of stereotypes and quirks that I find amusing. It is very much a movie for the guys though. There was grossness in this movie too, but more of the ugly man on man action type.

Pattern

The bedroom in my appartment is a work in progress. Stenciling part of this pattern on the end wall in a soft cream colour is my latest idea. I think it might be the thing the room needs. That, and a bed..

Run Forest, RUN

I just bought the Nike+ kit to use on my Ipod. I love it! It has some great features and keeping motivation up when you need to push that last bit is just easier with this gadget. I think in software support and flexibility this thing is definitely a first generation thing, so the future looks great.

The combination with my new treadmill (a life fitness 8500) I am good to go running anytime. A freedom much appreciated in icicleland.

Finding the right pictures to hang on my walls will be a time consuming project. Have a lot of pictures, but I am also quite critical of my own work. Finding the right ones deciding on size and combinations is all about fun. I bought a few frames the other day, it is a place to start.
It will be personal, if successful.

Let there be light

The livingroom and bedrooms of my new appartment must be furnished without ceiling lighting. This calls for creativity on the task of luminating the place..

A couple of these would be perfect! Unfortunately there are no pottery barn stores around the corner -or for a few thousand miles… Oh well..

Materialistic Pleasure

My new baby is a Canon 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM. It's all about the gadgetry today.
My baby will help me see the world from a diffrent angle and full of luminosity.

On the move

I found an appartment. I wonder if this is another one of those things I do with high risk to challenge my self. No matter what the reason or my hesitations I am on the move again.
